GOVERNANCE & MANAGEMENT
Millennium Performing Arts is led by an Advisory Board, with particular responsibility for the following areas:
- the long-term direction of the college, including its objectives or purposes
- implementing policies and activities to achieve objectives
- clear governance directives to the management team of the college
The Board advises the leadership, direction and supervision of our organisation. It means we are making sure that the organisation is well run and carries out the work it was set up to do. This involves planning for the future, guarding the organisation’s values and reputation, looking after the people and being accountable for the organisation’s actions and decisions. Good governance plays an essential part in securing the future of our organisation.
Our Advisory Board bring passion and commitment as well as skills and experience to our college. Millennium Performing Arts fully support them in that role. Equality and diversity underlie each principle; the need to ensure diversity and equality of treatment for all sections of the community. We believe that this is fundamental and an essential part of each principle.
